Science Academy Leadership Program (SALP)

Science Academy Leadership Program (SALP) is a program that is offered to students in grades 6th-8th at SAC.

The Science Academy Leadership Program (SALP) empowers middle school students to grow as leaders through:

✅ Academic Challenges

✅ Healthy Lifestyle Habits

✅ Building Confidence

✅ Volunteerism & Service

✅ Exploration & Fun Activities

Students who join SALP commit to a structured process that guides, recognizes, and rewards their progress in leadership and personal growth.

Each student is paired with an advisor who helps:

* Plan meaningful activities

* Monitor progress

* Set and achieve goals

SALP encourages development in four key areas:

* Personal Development

* Community Service

* Physical Fitness

* Educational Adventure

Students will participate in scheduled activities with mentors throughout the year.

In addition, mentors will plan extra activities (including sleepovers) for their individual student groups.

SALP program registration takes place at the beginning of the school year after an information session with both students and parents.
